Wood is a natural and renewable resource and by using timber instead of concrete or steel you too can lower the CO2 emission by 2 tones per m3 of timber. Solidness and earthquake safety

Glulam wooden constructions are incredibly solid. Compared to other materials and elements they stand against fire and earthquake much longer, preserving their original shape and standing strong against levelling. Glulam wooden constructions are many times safer from being torn down by earthquakes than comparable concrete or steel constructions.

Fire safety

Due to their characteristics, despite the proverbial inflammability of glulam wooden construction are by far the most fire resistant amongst any type of construction. In case the construction catches fire the top layer of glulam beam would char and decrease the conductance of heat, disabling contact between wood and oxygen and therefore brake the advancement of fire.

Low building weight

Wood is a wonderfully light yet has incredible bearing strength which makes it very useful even on not so solid ground. Glulam wooden constructions are exceptionally light weight, presenting only about 20% of steel or concrete weight at the same volume.
